Rob Lowe hates being so damn good looking

Rob Lowe wants you to feel his pain — his beautiful, beautiful pain. He tells the New York Times Magazine that it’s incredibly difficult to navigate your way through the sea of life as a rich, attractive white man.

“There’s this unbelievable bias and prejudice against quote-unquote good-looking people, that they can’t be in pain or they can’t have rough lives or be deep or interesting. They can’t be any of the things that you long to play as an actor. I’m getting to play those parts now and loving it. When I was a teen idol, I was so goddamn pretty I wouldn’t have taken myself seriously.”

Sure it’d be easy to make light of Rob’s comments, but I am not going to do that. Because I know exactly where he’s coming from. Just the other day, this bitch on the street had the nerve to ask me if I was an underwear model. “Why yes, actually, I am.” I was so humiliated that I could barely set a personal best in the deadlift at the gym that night. For shame. For shame.
